UCP's Philosophy
For 50 years, United Cerebral Palsy has been guided by the philosophy that all children and adults with disabilities have a fundamental right to choose and participate in lifestyles that enable them to live in and make contribution to their communities. We believe tht person with disabilities have the right, the desire, and the ability to shape their own destinies and therefore have the right and responsibility to be active decisionmakers.
